Fat Panda is best suited to guests looking for a quiet, self-contained stay by the river.
In particular, it works well for:

However, it may not be suitable for everyone.
For example, it is not ideal for:
- Very tall guests who require full standing height throughout

The marina is a quiet residential setting with riverside walks, a café/bar, and easy access to Reading town centre.
- Reading Station: approx. 10 minutes by taxi
- Henley-on-Thames: approx. 15 minutes by car
- Easy access to the M4

Check-in: from 3:00pm
Check-out:
- 10:00am Monday to Friday
- 11:00am Saturday and Sunday
If you need flexibility, you’re welcome to request it when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

Fat Panda is a fully self-contained boat, reserved exclusively for your stay.
On board you’ll find:
- A cosy lounge and dining area
- Fully equipped galley kitchen
- Double bed with fresh linens
- Shower room and WC
- Heating and hot water
- Tea and coffee making facilities
- Outdoor deck seating
Please note: this is a boat, with some lower ceilings and narrow walkways typical of Dutch barges.

Guests are welcome to use marina amenities during their stay.
